If I-95 is to be improved as it should be, and at a time that it needs to be, North Carolina must consider tolling I-95 and consider tolling other interstates at the borders," Wilson told a legislative committee last week.
Last year, North Carolina won federal permission to put tollbooths on I-95. For that to happen, the legislature would have to change another law that allows tolls only on new turnpikes, not on existing highways.
Don't expect an I-95 bailout from Washington.

Toll booths, that scourge of modern civilization and haven of highway robbery.
Hope they come to their senses instead and realize what a plague they are.
Otherwise not far you may find that traitor Rudy Guiliani trying to sell our highways off to foreign investors so they can buy and own our infrastructure and line their bank accounts forever while stealing the food off our tables.
