How much are the tolls??

I'm travelling from South Carolina to New York, and the map quest said there would be tolls, can anyone tell me what the price would be??

1st toll is I-95N exit #27 toward Baltimore/New York
2nd is I-295N becomes New Jersey TpkeN
3rd is New Jersey Tpke N becomes New Jersey Tpke Cars only lane N/ I-95N
4ht is I-278E exit on the left toward Goethals Bridge/Verrazano Bridge

Not sure about the NJT, but it's not terribly expensive, as compared to the PA or FL Tpk. It should cost no more than $5 or so. The killer will be the bridges:

Goethals=$6 (payable one-way upon leaving NJ only-no toll collected on return from SI to NJ)

Verrazano=$8 (payable one-way upon returning from Brooklyn to Staten Island only-no toll collected from SI to Brooklyn)

I realized that I never asked you where in NY you are going. It's been my experience that Mapquest does not always give the most intelligent route. As an example, if you're going to Manhattan, it would be easier to continue on the NJT to the Holland or Lincoln Tunnels, and avoid the Verrazano. So, where's the ultimate destination?

I would concur ref: mapquest

if you have AAA membership use their routing - an online triptik

expedia or yahoo are better than mapquest but AAA is best by far.

1- I-95 ext 27 - cant hel there

2- I-295 to NJTP - no toll n/b at Del bridge - they only collect S/B

3- cars only lane - nothing there - you pay for the whole NJTP trip - you get card (or use ez pass) and pay at end

4- Goethels/Verrazano - someone already helped you .
