Ramsey, NJ to Vero Beach, Florida

I will be traveling from Ramsey, NJ to Vero Beach, Florida with two small dogs. What would be the half way mark as I would like to make this trip in two days.

Depending on your stamina, you're probably looking at either Fayetteville, NC or Florence, SC. Both cities have lots of food and lodging options and access to shopping etc. so you can take care of the pets and not have too tough a time finding pet-friendly lodging.

Going with a rough estimate of 1200 miles for the trip, Fayetteville will give you a slightly longer drive on the second day since you're short of the halfway mark. Florence takes you a little more than halfway. Have a great trip!
