NCDOT Construction Projects Suspended For Memorial Weekend

Motorists all across North Carolina will find traveling a bit easier for the Memorial Day weekend.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is suspending most road construction work on major routes. The department says by avoiding traffic delays, motorists can reach their destinations more quickly while cutting down on fuel consumption and costs.
NHDOT says most construction projects along interstate, N.C. and U.S. routes will be suspended from 4 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m., next Tuesday, with five exceptions.
