I can verify how bad Ridgeland is. I was going north on I95 on 2/15 . Was raining and I was doing between 70 and 75, was in left lane for about a mile and got pulled and ticketed for "Impeeding the flow of traffic".....by city cop........so, I guess they can get you both ways....to slow and too fast.......ticket was for $233.00

Here are your problems:

1. LEFT LANE means passing lane. Driving in the left lane and never keeping right is trouble along the way. It is not the fast lane.

RIGHT LANE means travel lane, its the lane your suppose to travel on and let traffic with higher speeds pass you on the left to keep the flow of traffic stable. This also allows emergency vehicles to get through without conflict.

2. Speeding in South Carolina

3. Driving at speeds 70-75mph in the rain results in " hydroplaning "

4. Driving too slow along the interstate is at a speed 44 mph or under in a 70mph zone according to the speed limit signs along South Carolina interstates.

__________

Please do not drive up north if you are a consistent left lane driver. Consistent Left lane drivers do not need to be driving
