Any good hotels in Santee?

We're traveling south on I-95 to Florida during Christmas and plan to stop overnight in Santee, SC. Does anyone have any recommendation for places to stay in Santee? Were a family of 3.

Santee is a good choice. There are many lodging options as well as places to eat while you're there. Here's a link to an article that recommends several clean, comfortable and reasonably priced hotels just off I-95 in Santee:

Whatever you do..........DONT STAY AT THE Quality Inn! However, a good atmospheric, local place to eat is the Captains Quarter, west of I-95!
