Least busy travel day on I95

Has any one researched what are the days of the week on I 95 that have the lightest traffic? Is there ever such a time?

Hi,

I agree with Snowdog. We drove straight through the night once and almost had I95 to ourselves going through NC and SC. It was very eerie. Ron

I agree with Shellron and Snowdog

I made the overnight straight through to NY from FL and boy was it eerie through NC and SC. No one around at times and for a brief time, massive amounts of trucks. Then as I got into and close to VA....they vanish. The only signs of life are the illuminated sleeping beasts lining the entrance and exit ramps of the highways, rest areas and truck stops. Then, around 430-5am, the beasts begin to awake and company joins you on the road. There is a brief lull somewhere between 230am-430am where its like the Twilight Zone or something...I will never forget it.

To add to my previous post:there are no more light traffic days on I-95,so you have to ask what times of the day have the lightest traffic..
