The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 95 in the Jacksonville area thru February 26, 2016:
I-95 Overland Bridge project between Fuller Warren Bridge and Emerson Street: Nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Park Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard for road work.
I-95 southbound access road to Atlantic Boulevard: Complete nighttime road closure from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway construction. Detour to Acosta Bridge, Museum Circle, San Marco Boulevard, Prudential Drive, Kings Avenue, Philips Highway and Emerson Street back to I-95.
I-95 access road from northbound Philips Highway to Atlantic Boulevard: The access road is temporarily closed. Detour is Kings Avenue which is modified to provide two-way travel between Philips Highway and Atlantic Boulevard.
I-95 northbound entrance ramps at Philips Highway: Nighttime complete ramp closures Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge construction. Philips Highway traffic to northbound I-95 detours to Kings Avenue, Prudential Drive, San Marco Boulevard and Gary Street. Atlantic Boulevard traffic to northbound I-95 detours to Prudential Drive, San Marco Boulevard and Gary Street.
Atlantic Boulevard at I-95: Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Kings Avenue to Old Hickory Road for work on the I-95 Overland Bridge project.
I-95 from County Road 210 to Old St. Augustine Road: Nighttime southbound lane closure Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. for overhead sign installation.
I-95 at Butler Boulevard: Nighttime southbound off-ramp lane closures Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for sign construction.
I-95 just south of Butler Boulevard: Nighttime southbound lane closures Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for detour
construction in preparation for traffic shift.
I-95 over the Fuller Warren Bridge: Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine bridge
I-95 at U.S. 17: Daytime closure of emergency lanes weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for landscaping the medians.
