Lane and Ramp Closures, Detours on I-95 in Northern Florida

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following I-95 traffic impacts in Duval and St. Johns Counties (Jacksonville/St. Augustine area thru July 29, 2016.

Duval County (Jacksonville Area)

  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Park Street to Atlantic Boulevard for road work. Also, nighttime southbound lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Atlantic Boulevard to the overpass at San Diego Road.
  • Continuous lane closures on I-95 southbound service road from Overland Bridge to Atlantic Boulevard for roadway construction.
  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 at Butler Boulevard Tuesday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to set overhead beam and for area maintenance.
  • Nighttime southbound lane closure on the off-ramp to Butler Boulevard from I-95 Tuesday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for road work. Northbound detour is Belfort Road, Butler Boulevard to northbound I-95.
  • Nighttime northbound off-ramp closure to Butler Boulevard eastbound from I-95 Tuesday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for road work. Detour is Bowden Road, u-turn to Butler Boulevard.
  • Nighttime lane closures over Church Street Monday through Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for routine overpass maintenance.
  • Nighttime lane closures over Little Cedar Creek Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
  • Daytime lane closures over Myrtle Street Sunday and Monday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for routine overpass maintenance.
  • Nighttime lane closures over Union Street Monday through Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for routine overpass maintenance.

St Johns County (St. Augustine Area)

  • Daytime southbound lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 1.5 miles north of State Road 206 and State Road 207; two miles north of International Golf Parkway; and 1.5 miles north of County Road 210 for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation.
