Nighttime travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Bucks County and U.S. 30 in Chester County, for bridge deck and expansion joint repairs, respectively, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said.
The weather-dependent work schedule is:
- On Tuesday, March 29, through Friday, April 1, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one lane will be closed on I-95 south between Route 413 and Route 132 (Street Road) in Middletown Township, Bucks County; and
- On Tuesday, March 29, through Friday, April 1, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, one lane will be closed on U.S. 30 east and west between Airport Road and Manor Road in Valley Township, Chester County.
I-95 and U.S. 30 motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel during these overnight operations.
The operations are part of a $1.4 million contract to repair bridge decks and seal joints to preserve and maintain structures in the Philadelphia region.
