The Princeton Avenue on-ramp to northbound Interstate 95 at the Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchange in Philadelphia will be closed at night next week for overhead bridge construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.
The work is associated with improvements underway to rebuild the interchange and reconstruct and widen 1.4 miles of I-95 between the Cottman Avenue and Bridge Street interchanges.
The on-ramp will be closed on Sunday, February 28, through Friday, March 4, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning as crews continue construction of the northbound I-95 bridge over the ramp. Motorists will be detoured north on State Road, then left on Linden Avenue, then right on the ramp to I-95 north at the Academy Road Interchange.
The overnight operation is weather dependent.
