Shoulder Closures, Reduced Speeds on I-95 in Georgia Thru June

In conjunction with a $2.8 million bridge rehabilitation project on I-95, a contractor for the Georgia Department of Transportation will install north and south bound shoulder closures for equipment needed for bridge maintenance project on the Little Satilla River Bridge at the Glynn/Camden County line. I-95 shoulder closures will be in place weekdays from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. for the month of June. All work is weather contingent.

Closures will take place on I-95 between milepost 27 and 28 in Camden and Glynn Counties, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., starting Wednesday, June 1 through Thursday, June  30.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this work zone. Message signs, barrels and/or cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes.
