The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom are part of the Six Flags chain of theme parks, located in Queensbury, New York, near Lake George, and 60 miles north of Albany.

The park is divided into several sections, each with it own theme. “Fest Area” features rides like the “Alpine Bobsleds”, “Raging River” water ride, “SkyCoaster”, and the “Comet”, a world-class wooden roller coaster. “Ghosttown” is an Old West village featuring three rollercoasters: the “Steamin’ Demon”, the “Canyon Blaster”, and “Nightmare at Crack Axle Canyon”. “International Village and Storytown” retains some of the elements from earlier days at the park and features the “Boomerang” rollercoaster.

“Looney Tunes National Park” is the kiddie ride area and features the “Road Runner Express” roller coaster. “Splashwater Kingdom” is the internal waterpark with water slides, wave pool, and a childrens play area.

Throughout the park you’ll find themed food concessions, games and shopping. In addition the park offers a wide variety of entertainment. Looney Tunes characters and Justice League superheros roam the park, and regularly scheduled shows round out entertainment options here.
