Six Flags New England is part of the Six Flags chain of theme parks, named for the New England region in which it is located. Six Flags New England is located a few miles off I-91 in Agawam, Massachusetts. Six Flags New England is divided into two sections: a theme park and a water park. The theme park features 9 roller coasters, including “Superman – Ride of Steel”, “The Mind Eraser”, “Batman – the Dark Knight” and Pandemonium, all steel coasters, and “Cyclone” and “Thunderbolt” wooden coasters.

“Hurricane Harbor”, the water park features “Adventure River”, where you can tube down the 1,000-foot river, encountering waterfalls, water bursts and geysers along the way. From one of the largest wave pools in the country to multi-passenger rafting adventures, you’ll find water rides and experiences for all ages.

In addition to world-class rides, Six Flags New England offers a wide variety of top-shelf entertainment at the park including concerts, street performers, shows and parades. The park also offers plenty food choices, shopping, games and theme areas where kids can rub elbows with their favorite cartoon characters.

Directions

From I-95 points north – Take I-95 south to I-495 (Massachusetts), then south on I-495 to I-290, then west on I-290 to I-90, then west on I-90 to I-91, then I-91 south to Exit 3 (Agawam). Cross the bridge and take first exit. Follow rotary to Route 57 west, then take Route 159 south (Main Street) 2.9 miles to Six Flags New England.

From I-95 points south – Take I-95 north to I-91, then north on I-91 to Massachusetts Exit 3 (Agawam). Cross the bridge and take first exit. Follow rotary to Route 57 west, then take Route 159 south (Main Street) 2.9 miles to Six Flags New England.
