I-95 Southbound Lane Closure Scheduled Wednesday at Exit 49 in Georgia

The Georgia Department of Transportation wants the traveling public to be aware of the I-95 southbound lane closure on Wednesday, March 23 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Exit 49 in McIntosh County.

This right lane closure is a necessity for the contractor to lay asphalt on the southbound entrance ramp. All work is weather contingent.

This is a WORK ZONE and extreme caution is necessary. Motorists are strongly advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message signs, barrels and/or cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes.
