Lane and Shoulder Closures on I-95 in Rhode Island This Week

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation reports the following travel advisories on Interstate 95 thru April 29, 2016:

Ongoing Restrictions

Providence: I-195 East and West, from the I-95 interchange to Exit 2 (Eastbound: India St./Gano St.; Westbound: South Main St.), left shoulder closure for construction through late April 2016.

Overnight Restrictions

East Greenwich to Providence: I-95 North and South, from Exit 9 (Rte. 4) to Exit 19 (I-195 Northbound/Eddy St. Southbound), lane and shoulder closures in a moving operation for drainage work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

Providence: I-95 North, from Exit 16 (Rte. 10) to Exit 18 (Thurbers Ave.), lane and shoulder closures for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

Weekday Restrictions

Providence and Pawtucket: I-95 North and South, from the Rte. 146 overpass to the Massachusetts state line, right shoulder closed for highway lighting repair and light pole installation, Monday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
