Located along I-95 & US 64, this large city has many things todo. It is on the Nash/Edgecombe County line. If you didn’t know, Jazz great Thelanius Monk was born here in 1917. Getting Around Rocky Mount
On the 2nd weekend in October, Rocky Mount has the annual “Down East Festival”. Held in downtown Rocky Mount, this citywide event has many arts and crafts, live music, and of course, free food. To get to Rocky Mount, just take I-95 to exit 138/US 64, take US 64 EAST straight into town.
