Big Pig Bar B Q is another accidental treasure! Countless stops at chain fast food restaurants along I-95 can get to you after awhile. How about a nice change of pace place to grab a bite to eat and feel like you got you moneys worth? Big Pig does that for us.
It’s located Just of I-95, exit 31 in Stony Creek, Virginia. Big Pig BBQ is not much to look at but the food is very good and the prices are even better. The staff were friendly too. One word of warning… there is only outdoor seating, so go on a nice day.
We had pulled pork and fried chicken and both meals were excellent. Prices were extremely reasonable and the portions were more than we could eat. They also serve breakfast.
Big Pig Bar B Q will be a must stop for us if we happen to be anywhere near Stony Creek around meal time.
