We were a little hesitant when we pulled into the restaurant parking lot. Gene’s Steak House didn’t look like much on the outside. But we were pleasantly suprised with what we found on the inside.
This was a great little steak house. It’s a little off the beaten path but it is well worth it. The steaks were huge and cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth delicious. Service was a little slow but it was quite busy when we were there. This is one of the best meals we have eaten while on the road.
This is a local, family owned and operated restaurant in business since 1948 and they know exactly what they’re doing! We’ll be back!
