Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant – Newburyport, MA

Giuseppe’s is a great family restaurant with melt-in-your-mouth pasta made by Giuseppe himself. You can take-out or eat in.

They have delicious lasagne and other basics with specials on the gourmet end of the spectrum. The atmosphere is very informal and cozy… it’s just a hole-in-the-wall in a strip plaza (go east on Rte 113 about 1/4 mile, then right on Low St to first strip plaza on right.) but you will return.

Beer & wine are also available.

Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant is located just off I-95 Exit 57 in Newburyport, Massachusetts (257 Low Street)

Millhouse Steakhouse – Jacksonville, FL

I dined at this fabulous restaurant more than once. I was told by many of my I-95 road warriors friends that it was the best place for steaks on I-95.

It has been my 4th time at the Millhouse and I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed. It’s moderately priced for the quality served. I think it has one of the most extensive menus I have ever seen. All quality menu items.

This is a must try if you are traveling in north Florida on I-95.

Millhouse Steakhouse is located less than 1/2 mile west of I-95, Exit 363, (1341 Airport Road) in Jacksonville, Florida.

Andrades International Restaurant – Petersburg, VA

This is our favorite restaurant in lovely Old Towne, Petersburg, Virginia. They have plenty of free parking and are in the heart of the shopping area of renovated Old Towne.

Andrade’s serve Mexican, South and Central American cuisine with an upscale flair and in a lovely setting. We enjoy the large outside patio when it’s warm. They often have music in the Summer.

Andrade’s is located off I-95, Exit 52 at 7 Bollingbrook Street in Old Towne Petersburg.

On The Road for Christmas? Here Where to Eat Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2017

Not all of us will be home for Christmas, or comfortably seated with friends and family for a Christmas feast… some of us will be on the road.

Travelers looking for a holiday meal can find it quite difficult. You’re tired and hungry so you jump of an exit only to find that every restaurant is closed.

An increasing number of chain restaurants are choosing to remain open during the holidays, or at least opening for limited hours to meet customer demand.

Here’s out list of chain restaurants open for business on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2017.

Kimco to Build Mill Station $110 Million Open-Air Shopping and Dining Experience in Baltimore

Kimco Realty Corp introduced plans for Mill Station – a new, open-air shopping destination at the former site of the Owings Mills Mall in Baltimore County, Maryland. Costco will anchor the 575,000-square-foot Kimco Signature Series development, which will feature national, regional and local retailers, a variety of dining options, ample parking, green space and pedestrian-friendly walkways. Construction is scheduled to commence in early 2018, with completion expected in early 2019.

The approximately $108-million, ground-up development will house up to 30 retailers and restaurants, linked by a network of walkways and connections to existing office and retail. Mill Station lies in close proximity to mass transit, and enjoys direct access to I-795, connecting Carroll County with Baltimore County. The shopping center will serve a population of 166,000 in the surrounding five-mile area, with an average household income of approximately $93,000.

Costco will open a 148,000-square-foot warehouse club at the shopping center, to include a deli, bakery, food court, garden center, optical department, photo center and a gas station. The Mill Station club will be the only Costco location within a 15-mile radius. Kimco is negotiating leases with several additional retailers to occupy a total of 350,000 square feet at the new center. Furthermore, the site’s existing AMC Theatre will be fully modernized, creating a state-of-the-art cinema experience.
