Less than a mile from I-95, we found this place one day searching for gas on our way to Georgia.
They have a sports bar atmosphere, kind of like Buffalo Wild Wings. The food was great and the portion were large. Their claim to fame seems to be mac&cheese dishes so we gave them a try! We happened to go on a Monday and they have a “Mac Monday”, half price full size macs all day and night! They also have your typical chicken wings and burgers, soups, nachos and sandwiches. Great service and a friendly staff too!
There is a bar section that can get pretty noisy during a game, but the dining room side is relatively quiet with a nice restaurant atmosphere.
Mad Macs is located less than a mile off I-95, exit 1 in Newark, Delaware. Go north on College Avenue. They are located next to McDonald’s on your right.
I would definitely recommend Mad Macs to my fellow I-95 travelers!
