Opened in 1846, Lake Compounce is the oldest, continuously operating amusement park in North America. Located in Bristol, Connecticut, the park features four roller coasters and close to forty rides. “Boulder Dash”, is a 4,700 foot long wooden roller coaster designed to take advantage of Lake Compounce’s hilly terrain and forested scenery. “Wildcat” is one of the oldest continually operating wooden roller coasters in the world.

The park also includes “Splash Harbor”, a large water park located on the lakeshore. The water park includes several slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and an interactive complex. It is currently the largest water park in Connecticut.
