    Thousand Trails Chesapeake Bay – Gloucester, VA

     At Thousand Trails Chesapeake Bay campground annuals have the best sites.

    The RV park is mostly annual campers it seemed. The other sites are undeveloped and muddy. In my opinion, the rangers are very grumpy and less than helpful. Management the same. There seems to be lots and lots of alcohol use here. I witnessed many drunk people.

    This is not a place for families. Children were running around unsupervised. The water and electricity did not work consistently so be prepared…
