We found this restaurant when looking for something that was not fast food or a chain. They have limited hours (Wednesday – Friday 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and open Saturdays and Sundays at Noon.
Franken Stube is definitely worth planning a meal during those hours, especially if you like German food! Great schnitzel and sausage dinners!
Franken Stube is located on Atlantic Street, about 1/4 mile east of I-95, exit 11 in Emporia, Virginia.
My husband and I stopped here on the way down to Florida last summer. I would definitely stop here again.
