Timberland Acres is a nice campground. Sites are large and level and there is a good selection. The staff is courteous and very friendly. The entire property was clean and well maintained. They have over 70 pull through full hookup sites with 50 amp service that can accommodate rigs of any size and length, with 50 of these sites over 100 feet long.
Timberland Acres is a real family-oriented campground, with lots of activities. They are located between Bar Harbor and Ellsworth, which makes it an excellent base for exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor, Bangor and Blue Hill.
