The Connecticut Department of Transportation reports the following I-95 construction alert:
With the successful installation of the two new Route 1 bridge spans completed, contractors have moved on to additional construction tasks including utility work, paving, and completion of the bridge sidewalks, parapets, and fencing.
To complete this work, contractors will being working during days and nights through the summer. On some weeknights one to two lanes of I-95 may be closed from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, primarily for Northbound travelers.
