The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that contractors will be removing bridge girders, which will require the nighttime closure of ramps on SR 141 northbound and southbound to I-95 northbound.

In addition, there will be lane closures on I-95 northbound. At all times, one lane on I-95 northbound will remain open for motorists.

The following ramps will be impacted:

6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13 until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14 Exit 3A/SR 141 Ramps to I-95 Northbound.

Detour Routes:

All southbound SR 141 traffic will be directed to stay on SR 141 southbound, turn left (north) onto U.S. Route 13 north, then follow the remainder of the signage for the detour.

There will be signs directing traffic traveling north on SR 141 to take U.S. Route 13 north for I-95 northbound. If motorists miss those signs and travel north on SR 141 past Commons Boulevard, they will be directed to take the ramp for I-95 southbound and stay on the ramp to return to SR 141 southbound and follow the detour signage.

6 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 until 5 a.m. on Friday, September 16 Exit 2/SR 141 Southbound to I-295 Northbound

Detour Routes:

All traffic will be directed to stay on SR 141 southbound, turn left (north) onto U.S. Route 13 north, then follow the detour signs posted.
