The Delaware Department of Transportation reports that construction will require lane and ramp closures on I-95 northbound and I-295 northbound.
Closures will occur from 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Sunday, October 14, 2018 through Thursday, October 18, 2018, pending weather.
Closure locations will be I-295 Northbound to I-95 Northbound between Exit 5 and past SR 141 Northbound Interchange AND Closure of Exit 2/SR 141 Southbound to I-295 Northbound.
Detour Route for Exit 2: Motorists traveling on SR 141 southbound will follow detour signs to Westbound Commons Boulevard, right onto Churchmans Road, enter onto SR 1 southbound, merge onto I-95 northbound then merge onto I-295 northbound.
I-295 Northbound: Motorists will use the right lane signed for I-95 northbound and stay on the right lane of I-95 and use the temporary crossover just past the work zone to return to I-295.
Variable message boards will be posted to notify motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp closure.
