Multiple Closures, Detours, Delays for I-95 Construction in Jacksonville

The Florida Department of Transportation reports the following traffic impacts associated with I-95 construction and maintenance operation in the Jacksonville area, through Friday, April 13, 2018:

  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 at I-10 Sunday through Saturday, April 14 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for road work.
  • Daytime lane closures on I-95 at I-295 East Beltway at north interchange Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for overpass work.
  • Complete nighttime access closure on I-95 northbound access to Acosta and Main Street bridges from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to install overhead signage. Follow detour route.
  • Complete nighttime access closure on I-95 southbound access to Acosta and Main Street bridges from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge construction.
    • Detour for southbound Acosta Bridge traffic is Prudential Drive, Kings Avenue, Philips Highway, Emerson Street to I-95 southbound.
    • Detour for southbound Main Street Bridge traffic is Museum Circle, Prudential Drive, Kings Avenue, Philips Highway, Emerson Street to I-95 southbound.
    • Detour for westbound Museum Circle traffic is San Marco Boulevard, Prudential Drive, Kings Avenue, Philips Highway, Emerson Street to I-95 southbound.
    • Detour for eastbound and westbound Prudential Drive is Kings Avenue, Philips Highway, Emerson Street to I-95 southbound.
    • Detour for northbound Acosta Bridge is northbound Fuller Warren Bridge, Park Street, southbound Fuller Warren Bridge, San Marco Boulevard to Mary Street.
    • Detour for northbound Main Street Bridge is northbound Fuller Warren Bridge, Park Street, southbound Fuller Warren Bridge, San Marco Boulevard to Prudential Drive.
  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 from Atlantic Boulevard to San Diego Road for roadway and overpass construction.
  • Nighttime northbound pacing operation on I-95 from Butler Boulevard to Park Street Sunday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. I-95 northbound will experience delays beginning south of Butler Boulevard to Park Street. Law enforcement will be present in all travel lanes driving at a reduced speed to provide construction crews the opportunity to install overhead signage without fully stopping traffic on the interstate.
  • Daytime lane closures and off-ramp lane closures from I-95 southbound to Butler Boulevard Saturday and Monday through Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for drainage work.
  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 over Crestwood Avenue Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for routine overpass maintenance.
  • Continuous lane closures on I-95 from Emerson Street to Acosta and Main Street bridges on-ramps for roadway construction.
  • Nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Atlantic Boulevard to the overpass at San Diego Road for roadway and bridge construction.
  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 over Moncrief Creek Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 access road from Overland Bridge project to Atlantic Boulevard from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge construction.
  • Nighttime northbound lane closures on I-95 from Park Street to Emerson Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for roadway and overpass construction.
  • Nighttime lane closures on I-95 from Park Street to San Marco Boulevard exit from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for roadside work.
  • Continuous closure of I-95 southbound to Philips Highway exit for road construction and to install overhead signs. Follow detour route.
  • Complete off-ramp closure on I-95 at Stockton Street from Friday, April 6 at 8 p.m. through Monday at 5 a.m. for drainage work. Follow detour route.
