Maine Turnpike | I-95 Exit Guide

Beginning Wednesday evening, September 12, 2018, traffic stops of up to 25-minutes will occur in both directions in Gray at Mile 59.9 on the Maine Turnpike for the placement of structural steel at the Dutton Hill Bridge. Stoppages are scheduled to occur for two nights: Wednesday, September 12, 2018 and Thursday, September 13, 2018 with Monday, September 17, 2018 reserved as a rain date. A series of up to 25-minute stoppages will occur each night between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM the following morning.

In West Gardiner, on Friday, September 14, 2018, between the hours of 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, the Exit 103 southbound off-ramp will be closed for approximately 20 minutes in order to facilitate an equipment move. These stoppages are necessary to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction crews.

All work is weather dependent. Motorists should prepare for delays or seek alternate travel routes during the stoppages. Message boards will be in place to inform approaching travelers of closures, and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) broadcasts on 1610 AM will also be used to inform drivers. The Maine Turnpike Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding during this construction.
