Ramp Closures on Delaware’s I-95 for Sign and Lighting Work

The Delaware Department of Transportation announces to motorists that contractors will close the following ramps the weeks of September 21 and September 28. The nighttime ramp closures are necessary for the installation of foundations for high mast lighting and cantilever signage structures.

8:00 PM until 5:00 AM each night starting on Wednesday, September 23 through Friday, September 25 AND Monday, September 28 through Wednesday, September 30, pending weather.

Exit 3B/Route 141 Northbound to I-95 Southbound AND Exit 5A/I-95 Southbound to Route 141 Southbound

Detour Routes:

Exit 3B/Route 141 Northbound to I-95 Southbound

For traffic on Route 141 Northbound: Motorists will take the ramp to Route 4 and continue straight onto Marshall Street. Turn left onto Route 4/Justis Street westbound, turn left onto James Street and turn left onto Route 4/Market Street eastbound. Take the ramp to Route 141 southbound and then take the ramp to I-95 southbound.

Exit 5A/I-95 Southbound to Route 141 Southbound

For traffic on I-95 southbound: Motorists will take the ramp to Route 141 northbound and take the ramp to Route 4, continue straight onto Marshall Street. Turn left onto Route 4/Justis Street westbound and turn left onto James Street. Turn left onto Route 4/Market Street eastbound and take the ramp to Route 141 southbound.
