The Connecticut Department of Transportation reports that a nighttime bridge maintenance project is being performed on I-95 southbound in West Haven.
The work consists of bridge maintenance on I-95 SB, Bridge #00156, Allings Crossing overpass in West Haven. This work is scheduled to occur from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. through the morning of Friday, August 5, 2016.
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 SB between Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Road) and Exit 43, (Rt. 122) & SR 745, in West Haven.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
