Lane Closures for I-95 Paving Work in Maine Begins May 4

Maine Turnpike | I-95 Exit Guide

The Maine Department of Transportation will be doing pavement preservation work along a nearly-27-mile-long stretch of the northbound side of I-95 in Penobscot County. This project is scheduled to start on May 4th.

The work area will begin at the Alton/Argyle Township line and extend north through Edinburg, Howland, and Mattamiscontis Township. The project area ends in T2 R8 two miles north of the Mattamiscontis Township/T2 R8 line.

Drivers should expect lane closures. Anticipated completion date is October 30th.
