The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) reports the following I-95 road and lane closure notices are effective for the week of January 17-23, 2026. All schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
Warwick: Starting tonight (January 16) at 9:00 p.m., RIDOT is scheduled to temporarily close the on-ramp from Jefferson Boulevard to I-95 South in Warwick for ongoing bridge construction through summer 2027.
During the closure, all traffic on Jefferson Boulevard heading to I-95 South should use the on-ramp to the Airport Connector outbound, located about ½ mile south of the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard, Kilvert Street, and Coronado Road.
