I-95 travelers passing through Philadelphia can expect backups and delays that may impact their trip, as outlined below.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that a bridge inspection is scheduled next week on the I-95 Girard Point Bridge in (between exit 17 and 15) Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on the northbound deck of the Girard Point Bridge between the Enterprise Avenue and the Broad Street (Route 611) interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
