The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) advises motorists of various I-95 traffic impacts in Providence through October 30 and beyond. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
I-95 North, from Exit 37B to Exit 39A, alternating lane closures for barrier work and striping, Sunday – Thursday nights, 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
I-95 North at Exit 37BCD interchange, various ramps will be temporarily closed and reopened as needed for painting and striping, Sunday – Thursday nights, 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Follow signed detour.
All travel lanes are shifted to the right on I-95 North, between the Rte. 10/Elmwood Ave. off-ramp (Exit 33) and the Thurbers Ave. off-ramp (Exit 35), for replacement of the Broad and Eddy St. Bridges in Providence through 2027.
