The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) reports the following road and lane closure notices, effective through Friday, October 24, 2025. All schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
Providence: I-95 North, from Exit 36B to Exit 39A, and I-95 South, from Exit 38 to Exit 37D, alternating lane closures for road and barrier work, Sunday – Thursday nights, 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Providence: I-95 North at Exit 37BCD interchange, various ramps will be temporarily closed and reopened as needed for road and guardrail work, Sunday – Thursday nights, 11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Follow signed detour.
Providence: All travel lanes are shifted to the right on I-95 North, between the Rte. 10/Elmwood Ave. off-ramp (Exit 33) and the Thurbers Ave. off-ramp (Exit 35), for replacement of the Broad and Eddy St. Bridges in Providence through 2027.
