    The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will conduct early morning work on I-95 Northbound on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

    Weather dependent, work will involve closing the right lane and shoulder of I-95 Northbound from mile marker 14.8 to mile marker 15.2 to assist in the demobilization of construction equipment.

    Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public.

    This work is part of the construction of two sound abatement walls and privacy fence along I-95 in Portsmouth. This $18.7 million project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2026.
