The Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) is advising motorists of a series of overnight ramp closures this week, at various interchanges along the Turnpike. These closures are necessary to complete paving projects in Wells and the Portland area, and the ongoing construction of Exit 35 in Saco.
All work is weather dependent and schedules may shift. Motorists are urged to follow electronic signs on the highway and check MTA’s social media for updates.

Monday, July 21
- Exit 19 (Wells) – Southbound ON and OFF closed 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Exit 36 (Saco) – Northbound ON and OFF closed 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Exit 47 (Portland) – Northbound ON closed 9:00 PM to 5:00AM
Tuesday, July 22
- Exit 19 (Wells) – Rain date if needed for previous closures
- Exit 36 (Saco) – Southbound OFF closed 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Exit 48 (Portland) – Northbound OFF closed 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM

- Exit 48 (Portland) – Northbound ON closed 9:00 PM to 5:00AM
