I-95 North motorists are using a new traffic pattern after the Downtown exit and near Providence Place Mall with a newly relocated Exit 38, about one mile south of its former location. RIDOT has posted numerous signs to guide motorists to their destinations.

Overnight closures on short sections of I-95 in both directions continue for reconstruction of bridges that span these highways along East Ave. in Warwick. The bridge over I-95 is located at Exit 28 (Rte. 113 East and West), and the bridges over I-295 are near Exit 1A (Rte. 113 West).

East Greenwich/Warwick

Starting Friday night (November 7), RIDOT will begin shifting lanes to the left on sections of I-95 South and Rte. 4 where the two highways meet in Warwick and East Greenwich to create work zones for the Rte. 4 “Missing Move” project. The changes will go into effect over two weekends, on the nights of November 7 and 8 and November 14 and 15, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
