I-95 travelers passing through South Carolina this week should be aware of the following traffic restrictions that may have an impact on their trip.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) reports that it will conduct nighttime traffic pacing operations on the I-95/I-26 Interchange in Orangeburg and Dorchester counties for construction beginning July 29.
These operations will include lane closures and speed reductions. The closures will begin at 8:00 p.m. and will be picked up the following morning. The operations will be repeated on July 30.
Digital signs will be placed along the route alerting drivers to these changes.
