The Virginia Department of Transportation reports that motorists should anticipate overnight double lane closures on I-95 in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area for staining and cleaning of the new overpass at Fall Hill Avenue and scheduled maintenance work on the I-95 southbound overpass at Route 17.

Construction crews will continue to stain and clean the new Fall Hill Avenue overpass, which is located at mile marker 131 in Fredericksburg.

Bridge deck repairs will be underway on the I-95 southbound overpass at Route 17 near Exit 133 (Route 17/Falmouth) in Stafford County. Construction crews will replace temporary asphalt patches on the bridge deck with concrete to provide a smoother, more durable travel surface and to avoid the development of potholes.

Message boards will warn travelers to stay alert for work zones ahead and possible delays.
