The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will temporarily close and detour the I-26 eastbound loop to I-95 northbound and the I-95 southbound loop ramp to I-26 eastbound beginning the night of Monday, September 14.

Both loop ramps will be closed starting September 14 at 7:00 p.m. and reopen September 17 by 9:00 a.m.

The traffic shift operation will involve shifting I-26 eastbound to I-95 northbound ramp traffic from its current location to a newly constructed ramp in the immediate vicinity. Lane closures will be active on I-26 and I-95 intermittently throughout the course of the operation.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to crews when driving through the work zone.
