I-95 Lane Closures Between Exits 8 and 5 in Stamford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that overnight lane closures will be in effect along I-95 in Stamford starting on February 22, 2024.

Lane closures will be implemented on I-95 to facilitate the construction of new auxiliary lanes and resurfacing and safety improvements. The noted lane closures are scheduled to start on February 22, 2024, and will periodically continue to the completion of the project into late fall of 2024.

Lane closures will be used during allowable times to facilitate the construction in both the north and southbound auxiliary lanes. Lane closures can be expected to start at 8:00 p.m. in the northbound direction and continue until 6:00 a.m. and at 10:00 pm. until 6:00 a.m. in the southbound direction.

This CTDOT Project was awarded June 3, 2023, in the amount of $58,561,760.0. The Project’s current completion date is November 9, 2024.
