The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will conduct night work on I-95 Northbound on Sunday July 26, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
Weather permitting, work will involve closing the right lane and shoulder of I-95 northbound from mile maker 14.6 to mile marker 15.0 to assist in the replacement of a damaged sign on the overhead sign structure at mile marker 14.8.
Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public.
This work is part of the construction of two sound abatement walls and privacy fence along I-95 in Portsmouth. This $18.7 million project, is scheduled for completion in the Summer of 2026.
