The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) notifies motorists of scheduled roadway closures and restrictions associated with the I-95/SR 896 Interchange Improvement Project. All activities are subject to weather conditions and may be adjusted as necessary.
I-95 and Associated Ramp Impacts
- Daytime shoulder closures on southbound I-95 from the SR 896 Interchange to the Toll Plaza will be in effect Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to accommodate excavation operations.
- Daytime shoulder closures and lane shifts on the northbound SR 896 on-ramp to northbound I-95 will occur Monday through Friday, July 13–17, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Overnight lane closures (right lane) on both northbound and southbound I-95 from the SR 896 Interchange to the Toll Plaza are scheduled for Monday, July 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
SR 896 Impacts
- Overnight lane and shoulder closures on southbound SR 896 from Welsh Tract Road to the I-95 Interchange will take place on Monday, July 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
SR 72 Impacts
No impacts are anticipated on SR 72.
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and exercise caution in work zones.
