The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that, as part of resurfacing improvements on I-95 from State Road 207 to International Golf Parkway, a closure of the State Road 16 exit ramp from I-95 South is necessary for drainage and curbside work.
The ramp will close nightly at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 29 and Tuesday, January 30 and reopen by 6:00 a.m. the following mornings.
During the closure, motorists will be detoured on I-95 South to State Road 207 to I-95 North for access to State Road 16. Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area and follow posted detour signs during this time.
The $31 million resurfacing improvements project is scheduled to be completed by late 2024, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
