The Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) reports that beginning Sunday, June 29, a series of overnight I-95 ramp closures from Exit 42 to Exit 48 northbound will take place in the Portland area for paving work. Closures will occur from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and with multiple interchanges in the area, drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
This work is part of a larger project to resurface the northbound lanes from Exit 42 in Scarborough to Exit 48 in Portland. Additional work includes ramp tie-ins, catch basin grade adjustments, and guardrail improvements.

- Sunday, 6/29 – Exit 42 NORTHBOUND OFF-ramp
- Monday, 6/30 – Exit 42 NORTHBOUND ON-ramp
- Monday 7/7 – Exit 45 NORTHBOUND OFF-ramp
- Wednesday, 7/9 – Exit 46 NORTHBOUND OFF-ramp
- Thursday, 7/10 – Exit 46 NORTHBOUND ON-ramp
- Sunday, 7/13 – Exit 47 NORTHBOUND OFF-ramp
- Monday, 7/14 – Exit 47 NORTHBOUND ON-ramp
- Tuesday, 7/15 – Exit 48 NORTHBOUND OFF-ramp
- Wednesday, 7/16 – Exit 48 NORTHBOUND ON-ramp
All work will be suspended over the July 4th holiday and is weather-dependent.
