The Virginia Department of Transportation reports that the Dale City Truck-Only Safety Rest Area North and weigh station at mile marker 154 along northbound I-95 just beyond Route 234 (Exit 152) will be closed (weather permitting) from 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 for milling and paving of the on-ramp, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The last rest area for trucks on northbound I-95 in Virginia prior to Dale City is the Ladysmith Safety Rest Area/Welcome Center at mile marker 104; the next rest area for trucks on northbound I-95 after Dale City is the I-95 North Welcome Center in Maryland at mile marker 36 between Washington and Baltimore.
Truck drivers are asked to plan their trips and rest breaks accordingly.
