The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) reports the following I-95 road and lane closure notices, effective for the week of November 7-13, 2026. All schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
Providence:
I-95, and Route 10 North, multiple off-ramp closures for wrong-way driving detector testing, including ramps to Branch Avenue, Lonsdale Avenue, Fountain Street, Memorial Boulevard, Eddy Street, Thurbers Avenue, Allens Avenue and Point Street
Tuesday night, from 11:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. Follow signed detour.
West Warwick/Warwick:
I-95 North, from Exit 24 (Rte. 2/Quaker Ln.) to Route 4, alternating lane closures and a new traffic pattern shifting both lanes to the right for median safety improvement
Saturday night (November 6) from 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
